Best upcoming phones in 2021

With 2020 nearly finished, it’s time to look towards 2021 and the best new phones it will most certainly have for us in stores. Which phones are getting released next year? There are some phones like iPhones and Samsung Galaxy that will be unveiled at their release time. We will try our best to give you a glance of what phone is getting released.

5G support in all high-end and mid-range phones will define 2021 trending phones. Notches and Bezels will get smaller, though screen sizes won’t grow up that much more.

With that in mind, here are the broad strokes of what phones we expect in 2021 as far as major phone announcements go.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series

Expected in: January – February 2021

Samsung Galaxy S21 Series | How Same

The Samsung Galaxy S21 may also be called as S30. S21+ and S21 Ultra are expected to be released in either January or February 2021. We expect the US version to be powered by the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset. The international version of Samsung Galaxy S21 may get released with Samsung Exynos 1000 (Exynos 2100) chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 (S30) Plus will have a 6.2-inch display size, and the S21+ will offer a 6.7-inch display, whereas the top-end S21 (S30) Ultra will offer a big 6.9-inch AMOLED display. Larger batteries, cameras, and even S Pen support on the Ultra versions are expected across the globe.

OnePlus 9

Expected in: Q1-Q2 2021

OnePlus 9 | How Same

OnePlus 9 has already leaked despite its release announcement to be in either in the first or second quarter of the year. OnePlus 9 will certainly position itself as a more than worthy flagship device compared to other Android devices in the market.

OnePlus 9 will offer a 120Hz display refresh rate, 6.8-inch OLED display, Super-fast charging, 48MP camera sensors, and the next-generation Snapdragon chipset. If the price is affordable then the OnePlus 9 will prove to be the most interesting device.

Google Pixel 5a

Google Pixel 5A | How Same

Google will release another affordable phone within the last half of 2021, probably right after Google I/O 2021 in May. We expect the Google 5a to come in two sizes; a larger XL and a more compact 5a. The Google Pixel 5a should offer a modest and affordable price. Google Pixel 5a will in fact support 5G.

One of the main features of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 is the most wanted under-screen camera. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to e much thinner than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. This device will also support the S Pen.

Apple iPhone 13 Series

Apple iPhone 13 | How Same

Apple iPhone 13 series will be announced in later 2021. Apple used to release its iPhone series every second Tuesday of September each year, but due to Covid, we can’t expect much.

The iPhone 13 series is expected in the same four model sizes that are currently on offer. That means there will be a 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, a 6.1-inch iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max. The iPhone 13 series won’t be introducing huge design changes. Instead, Apple is said to be focusing on the camera department, especially when it comes to the high-end models.

Both the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will have upgraded six-element (6P) f/1.8 ultra-wide-angle cameras with autofocus support. The standard iPhone 13 models will not have upgraded lense which will keep their prices down.
